The hotel has a beautiful location in deer valley. There was no wait to get onto the lifts, and the conditions couldn’t have been better.
The mountain itself is staffed with super friendly people. I think one of their favorite activities was acquiring their merit badges. The buffet and a la carte options never failed to please, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us on special requests (our son had the tastiest vanilla milkshake he has ever had). The food was amazing, particularly at Apex. They enjoyed tubing, daily s’mores with several different flavored marshmallows, bowling and arcade at Daly’s, billiards, and of course, interacting with Monty and Murphy, the hotel dogs.
Our kids (7 and 10) had the “best” vacation ever not only because of the skiing., but also because of the multitude of activities they enjoyed. The staff is super friendly and attentive, making everyone feel welcomed. The resort is beautifully set, with ski in and out access to the mountain.
